is this all they got?

well ... i went and saw the new michael moore film this weekend. it was good. but it was not as good as you might expect, if you are a fan. i mean, max and sandee both thought the movie was pretty good, though it left them feeling less than joyfull as we left the theatre.

me, i just was not impressed. it was nothing compared to bowling for columbine. it wasn't as funny. it wasn't as deep. it wasn't as broad. and i think that those presented problems for me, as a fan of his films.

for most people, though, i think that this film is about politics. and if thier politics agree with moore's, then they will most likely like the film. if they don't, they probably won't.

but ironically, i think it should be the exact opposite. the people who need to see this movie are the ones who don't agree. let them come forward and try and poke holes in moore's plot.

i think the plot lacks, meself. i don't think it talks about carlyle group enough. i don't think that he tells us enough about the falling out between the taliban and the united states. but he does put a lot of effort into the relationship between the united states and the kindom of saud -- which i think is paramount to the post-911 environment in the states.

this here is an article that i found on the fox news web site. numbers differ about the innacuracies in the movie, but i figured that fox would have the exact opposite viewpoint than moore. but this is all i found.

and simply put, it does nothing. minor differences. nothing is disputed as being incorrect, just as inaccurate. i don't know, read it for yourself.

it makes me think that maybe moore's movie might get people out to vote against bush. who knows? i know that for the first time in a long time, i feel like there might be hope -- that bush may not be re-elected. i am still fairly confident that he will win, and we will soon decline into the wolrd war iii atmosphere.

but what the fuck do i know?
